Rachel is a passionate and knowledgeable pilates instructor. Pregnancy should be a time of connection with your body and with Rachel’s training you can do that and strengthen your body in preparation for childbirth and postpartum. Her classes incorporate pregnancy-safe positioning, multiple options depending on where you are in your pregnancy, and targeted exercises to connect you with your pelvic floor. I found Rachel when I was suddenly facing severe back pain in my 8th month of pregnancy.  After addressing the immediate injury through in office treatment and a strength/stretching plan (which was quickly successful), we pivoted to exercises to prepare for birth. And now that I am postpartum, she is helping me with pelvic floor strengthening. Through all of these efforts, I have found Rachel to be extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful and easy to work with. Rachel is a perfect fit for anyone on their prenatal or postpartum fitness journey.  She has a relaxed demeanor and makes her sessions enjoyable.  Within minutes of our first session Rachel was able to diagnose some of the knee and ankle mobility issues I had been experiencing postpartum.  After the birth of my both my first and second child I struggled with muscle injuries when returning to working out.  Her sessions have been instrumental in building back my muscle strength, mobility, and flexibility after having my third child.  She is also great with providing specific stretches and strength training exercise to work on at home.  I highly recommend Rachel for anyone looking to start their prenatal or postpartum fitness journey on the right path.  My only regret is not finding her sooner. – K.P.
